Extra Life tops $3 million despite site attack

Extra Life, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals’ gaming fundraiser has raised $3.8 million this year, the organization announced today. This accomplishment comes in the wake of an unfortunate distributed denial of service (DDoS) attack over the weekend.

This year’s event had raised over $2 million, with an additional $1.8 million flooding in over the weekend despite the attack.
