You have 3 days to use Sony’s ‘we’re sorry’ discount for the PSN outage

Sony’s PlayStation Network went down for multiple days during the holidays, and the company is trying to win your forgiveness by giving you the opportunity to spend money on its digital store.

The publisher revealed today that it will give a one-time 10-percent discount to anyone who makes a purchase from the PlayStation Store from 9 a.m. Pacific on Friday through 9 a.m. Pacific on Monday. So you’ll only get the discount — a big part of Sony’s apology — if you are ready to spend money this weekend, but the code works for everything in your cart as well as with preorders for unreleased games.
