Ubisoft renames subscription service to Ubisoft+ Premium

Ubisoft announced today that it’s making changes to its subscription service, Ubisoft+. Namely, the service is now offering two new plans: Ubisoft+ Premium and Ubisoft+ Classics. The former rebrands Ubisoft+ Multi-Access and PC Access into a single service, while the latter offers the company’s back catalog to PC subscribers. Ubisoft renamed the service to coincide with the launch of Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown in early access.

According to Phillipe Tremblay, Ubisoft’s director of subscriptions, the newly-renamed Ubisoft+ Premium offers early access to new games, monthly reward and the company’s back catalog, while Ubisoft+ Classics offers the back catalog specifically. Tremblay adds that Ubisoft+ users have logged over 600 million hours of play, and that one in ten subscribers have never played a Ubisoft title before.
