We’re glad they’re adding more characters to Street Fighter 4. Much better than adding another important thing. Like, oh, y’know, a number.
News Blips:
• Super: We’re getting more Street Fighter 4 Characters. Capcom already confirmed some sort of update is getting announced for Street Fighter 4 tonight (here in America, at least), but since the French hate waiting, they went ahead and spoiled it. Or at least some it — it appears classic Indian fighter T. Hawk and some new chica Juri are getting added to the game. Along with the possible new adjective “Super” to the title, which in our opinion, is all that people care about anyway. [1UP]
• Alpha Protocol may be looking to sneak past its release date. The Sega spy role-playing game is scheduled to come out next week, but retail king GameStop is now saying the title will ship next year. Well, regardless of what happens, hopefully it comes out before the Aliens and/or Predators get to the developers first. [Joystiq]
• Are we there yet?: Gran Turismo 5 could come out spring of next year. Oh, it’s only been about four years since Gran Turismo 5 was announced at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3), so it’s just too damn exciting to hear the game is slated to skid out in Japan next March. And, if things work out well for us, we’ll get to play it shortly thereafter. Gee whiz! Aren’t we lucky? [GameSpot]
• Who is sacking the Sackboys? Um, their developer Media Molecule, duh. In fact, the quirky game designers stitched together some Watchmen-themed costumes for their lovable little boy-sack. Thankfully (or sadly, depending on your hornballsiness), there’s no big blue Mr. Manhattan, err, “sack” in this update. [Kotaku]
