CD Projekt Red announced today that it’s bringing its FPS Cyberpunk 2077 to yet another platform: Macs with Apple silicon. The developer optimized the Ultimate Edition of the game for the platform, meaning it takes advantage of the advanced features such as path tracing, spatial audio and frame generation. It launches on Mac on July 17.

Cyberpunk 2077 for Mac runs on all Apple silicon configurations with at least 16GB of unified memory and macOS 15.5. Alongside all of the Ultimate Edition additions, which include the Phantom Liberty expansion, it also includes the latest patch.

For Mac specifically, the Ultimate Edition is optimized to use specific graphical presets for each model. It also uses spatial audio for Airpods, with head-tracking. In addition to controller support, it also works with the Magic Mouse and the Trackpad.

This isn’t the only new launch for CDPR’s title, as it also launched on Nintendo’s recently launched Switch 2. The Mac version of Cyberpunk 2077 is available to buy via the Mac’s App Store, Steam, GOG and the Epic Games Store on July 17.
