Eleague is hosting the next Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major championship

Eleague announced today that it is once again holding a Counter-Strike: Global Offensive major championship. The event will take place at Boston University’s Agganis Arena from January 26 to January 28. Teams will be competing for a $1 million prize pool.

Eleague will broadcast all of the live competition online at Twitch, Eleague.com, and Youtube. Additional programming will appear on cable through TBS. Turner, which owns that station, also runs Eleague. It was one of the first major companies from traditional TV to get into the esports game. Eleague started with Counter-Strike: GO in 2016. It has since also covered Overwatch and Street Fighter V.
