Unity wants to make all aspects of game development easier, including setting up in-app purchases.

The makers of the popular game engine announced today during its Unite 2015 keynote that it’s creating Unity IAP (in-app purchases). The feature, which Unity is building right into the engine, will allow developers to easily set up purchases across all platforms by enabling a single IAP. It will be available in Unity 5.3.

Developers can spend more time actually working on their games when Unity streamlines technical stuff like setting up in-app purchases. It also allows them to set up in-app purchases across multiple platforms, despite their differences, making the prospect of releasing a game on different devices easier.

Unity IAP also integrates with Unity’s analytics and will eventually include fraud detection.
