WWE 2K15 delayed for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Owners of the new consoles have to wait a little longer to rumble.

Publisher 2K announced via a press release today that the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 versions of WWE 2K15 are getting a slight delay to Nov. 18. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions still launch Oct. 28 as planned.

“Visual Concepts and Yuke’s are committed to delivering the most authentic and action-packed WWE experience to date, including release for the very first time on next-generation consoles,” said Greg Thomas, the president of Visual Concepts, in a press release sent to GamesBeat. “The additional development time enables our talented teams to ensure the WWE 2K15 next-gen experience fully meets our expectations.”

The newest entry in the yearly wrestling franchises includes enhanced graphics thanks to detailed facial scans of the WWE roster. It also lets players relive the classic rivalries of CM Punk vs. John Cena and HHH vs. Shawn Michaels.
