We all know E3 is just around the corner. If you’re like me, you just cannot wait ’til it gets here. I have never been to an E3 but I get the gist of it. You spend all day playing/seeing/writing about games and, probably, partying all night. I know nothing of these particular events, but I do know one thing. I live in L.A. and I know of some great places you should eat if you’re in the area.
I’m a married man who works a 48 hour work week (regularly). I’m not in the video games industry, nor do I have a lot of time to play games anymore. With that being said, I want to tell you what to eat. I understand that most people coming to E3 are from out of town so I want to showcase a few places they should go to get some of the best foods in the area. I’m going to try and avoid places to eat that may be real close to the convention center. There are many reason’s for that. Mainly it’s because I want you to go out and see different parts of L.A..
First place on my list seems like an obvious choice. It’s a special place that’s open til 2 am (or 3 am if you’re here on the weekend). It’s a place where you can find just what you need after a long day of work/partying. The first spot on my list of where to eat while at E3 is Pink’s Hot Dog Stand.
Pinks is a world famous spot in Hollywood. It has filled many starts up throughout the years it’s been in business. Many of the items on the menu are named after famous people, places, shows, and movies. One dog, for example, is the Lord of the "Rings" Dog which is a 10" dog with bbq sauce and onion rings. If you’re not afraid of a little grease, make the trip to Pinks because no matter what you’re into, they have a dog for it.
