• It could be me, but toting a gun that looks like a piece of tubing from a Dyson vacuum cleaner probably doesn't ensure a serene boat ride in Resistance 3. I could see this turning into a guided tour of sorts — "Boggy Fog: The Ride!"

• It's easy for differences to be set aside in Ratchet & Clank: All 4 One, especially when a forest chock-full of collectibles tantalizingly presents itself. I'm genuinely intrigued to find out the justification behind Doctor Nefarious working with the good guys.
• Evil Ryu and an evil(er) version of Akuma named Oni both channel their inner Super Saiyan into glowing auras of energy in Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition. I'd always imagined Akuma as the one fighter with enough cajones to sport an icy wig — I wasn't disappointed!
• An archaeologist and his feminine entourage of students discover ancient tunnels that lurked beneath their noses the whole time in Doctor Lautrec and the Forgotten Knights. I do hope the good doctor's next task is to solve the mystery behind the creepily pupil-less eyeballs of his students.
