Video Games Live is holding a free concert in San Diego on July 20. If you don’t have a ticket, don’t worry, because livestreaming service Twitch announced today that it will broadcast the entire show on its website.
Amazon Video Games and Ubisoft are sponsoring the performance, which will bring together the composers of memorable video game music to perform in front of an audience at the San Diego Civic Center. That includes pieces from Final Fantasy, Street Fighter II, Dota 2, and many more. Before the show, Twitch will also broadcast interviews from the venue.
Video Games Live is a touring concert series that brings live game music to cities around the world. This is the first time that the Video Games Live is streaming one of its concerts over the Internet.
To watch the stream, just head to Twitch.tv/Twitch starting at around 4 p.m. Pacific on July 20.
“Out of the hundreds of shows we’ve done around the world for the past ten years, this one is turning out to be one of our biggest ever thanks to the Amazon Video Games Store and the worldwide reach that Twitch brings,” Video Games Live creator Tommy Tallarico said in statement. “Knowing this, we are pulling out all the stops to ensure the best show for the millions of people who will be watching.”
