Team Kaliber won the Call of Duty World League Dallas Open after three days of grueling esports combat. It was the first major esports event for this year’s big title, Call of Duty: WWII.

I watched the final matches, including the semifinal round where Europe’s Splyce eliminated the reigning American champions, Optic Gaming, which had to settle for third place. The final duel between Team Kaliber and Splyce was as exciting as esports matches get.
