Take-Two creates Private Division publishing label for Kerbal Space Program and more indie games

Take-Two announced today the formation of Private Division, a new publishing label that will focus on games from independent developers. Private Division will handle Kerbal Space Program, the spaceship building and flying simulator that Take-Two acquired in May.

Private Division will also publish Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey, a new game from Assassin’s Creed creator Patrice Désilets; and a new role-playing game codenamed Project Wight from Outsiders, a studio formed by ex-DICE developers. The new label is also publishing an unannounced RPG from Obsidian by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky, the co-creators of Fallout. Halo co-creator Marcus Lehto’s unannounced first-person shooter also joins the group.
