Nintendo’s little plumber still makes big bucks.

The publisher confirmed to GamesBeat that Super Mario Maker has surpassed 1 million copies sold in the United States. It is now the sixth Wii U game to hit that milestone for the company’s Wii U console. Mario Maker had a strong holiday on the buzz from its reviews as well as winning GamesBeat’s Game of the Year award.
