Square Enix shows off World of Final Fantasy

Square Enix unveiled the latest trailers for Kingdom Hearts and three other new titles at the Sony press event at the Tokyo Game Show.

The Japanese game publisher had four titles to share with fans in advance of the big fan trade show. The titles included World of Final Fantasy, debuting next year on the PlayStation 4 and Sony PlayStation Vita.

Square Enix is also working on its fifth Star Ocean title, dubbed Star Ocean: Integrity and Faithfulness. It also has a new Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 title (in advance of next year’s Kingdom Hearts III) coming next year. SaGa Scarlet Grace is coming to the PlayStation Vita. The Kingdom Hearts HD II.8 title will include an HD remaster of the 3DS title Kingdom Hearts: 3D: Dream Drop Distance game. It will also have a new HD theater cinematic short called Kindom Hearts X Back Cover and a new episode dubbed Kingdom Hearts 0.2 Birth by Sleep — a Fragmentary Passage.

And yes, those are the strangest game titles I’ve ever heard.
