Sonic Generations is back with an extra dose of Shadow

Sega revealed a remaster of Sonic Generations during today’s PlayStation State of Play.

Called, Sonic Shadow Generations, this new version adds Sonic’s edgier counterpart Shadow as a playable character. It is coming out this fall for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.

Sonic Generations first released in 2011. Many fans of the series consider it one of the franchise’s stronger outings, especially outside of the Genesis era. The game has both a modern and classic Sonic racing through levels inspired from the series’ history.
