Sleepy Giant suffers layoffs as it ends work on Disney Infinity, Elder Scrolls Online, and more

A shift in focus often leads to a loss in personnel.

Sleepy Giant has laid off about 18 people about two weeks ago, bringing its total number of employees to around 50. The video game company created the Fofofum development tool and Giantbacked, which supports game makers with financing, marketing, and live game operations. Sleepy Giant has previously worked on high-profile games such as Elder Scrolls Online, Disney Infinity, and Skylanders.
