Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn shown at The Game Awards

It’s time to learn Shaq Fu.

Shaquille O’Neal revealed Shaq Fu: A Legend Reborn on stage at The Game Awards today. A trailer showed a colorful, comical action-brawler. Fans funded the game on Indiegogo, where it raised $458,884, but this was our best look yet at gameplay.

The original Shaq Fu was a 2D fighting game that came out for the Sega Genesis in 1994. It was awful, but its absurd concept resonated with gamers enough to get them to fund a reboot.
