Digital Extremes recently held its tenth TennoCon, an event dedicated to its Warframe and Soulframe titles. Running on July 18-19, the event took place in London, Ontario across three buildings with thousands of fans both in attendance and watching via livestream. The developer revealed information about several new updates to its games to those who would be most interested, as TennoCon has been one of the industry’s most successful events based around a single company or game franchise.
The conference is named after the Tenno, Warframe’s player characters wearing the titular armor. Before TennoCon, Digital Extremes held smaller events within larger gaming conferences, each called TennoLive (this name is now used for live events that air before TennoCon itself). Two such events took place during Gamescom in 2014 and PAX East in 2015.
