Roblox reports 25% YoY growth with over $1B bookings in last quarter

Roblox Corporation today gave its latest earnings report, for the last quarter of 2023 and the full year together. The company reported strong growth across the quarter, with substantial increases in bookings and daily active users. Some of the losses have also grown at the same rate, though Roblox’s executive staff have emphasized how the game has reached new audiences this quarter.

Roblox sees an increase in bookings in the fourth quarter to $1.1 billion, a 25% year-over-year increase, while the daily active user count was 71.5 million, a 22% increase. It also saw a consolidated net loss of $325 million, up from $291 million in the same quarter. In a letter to shareholders, the company attributes its growth in part to Roblox’s release on PlayStation and Meta Quest platforms, as well as growth in experiences with over 1 million players.
