Roblox launches education initiative to get kids to code

Roblox is turning its expertise from making a blocky virtual world entertainment platform for kids and teens to education with a coding push.

Roblox Education is an initiative aimed at inspiring children to exercise their imagination by creating user-generated virtual worlds, said Grace Francisco, vice president of developer relations at Roblox in San Mateo, California.
