Today, PlayStation hosted a Japan-focused State of Play celebrating five years of PlayStation 5 with an assortment of new game reveals, announcements, and more.
Sony has relied on its State of Play series of video presentations over recent years to fill the gap left by foregoing most major conferences and events. Typically, PlayStation sets expectations ahead of time by announcing some sort of particular focus to limit outrageous speculation. Usually, fans get riled up anyway.
For the November 11, 2025, State of Play Japan, PlayStation, of course, focused entirely on Japanese games and studios with new game reveals, DLC announcements, and even some hardware news at the very end of the show. We’ve rounded up all of the biggest news below, followed by a quick list of additional smaller news moments like DLC announcements at the end.
If you missed the show and want to watch it in its entirety, you can do so above. Or you can skim the highlights down below.
