On this lazy Sunday morning just days before Christmas, Walmart is offering a surprising “better-than-Black-Friday” price on Sony’s PlayStation 4 console.
At only $329.00 – this is the lowest price the console has ever been for a new unit via an authorized retailer (that is, your warranty will be fully valid). Walmart of course set the deal to in-store pick up only, as shipping is not available for this product (and it likely won’t arrive in time for Christmas anyways).
In terms of availability, it seems most Walmart in major metropolitan area will have these in stock (given how unannounced this discount is). You can even take a rain check of sort by placing the order and picking it up with 14 days – this works well if you’re not in an immediate area where its convenient to drive a distance just to pick up a PS4.
Sony’s PlayStation 4, unlike the Microsoft Xbox One competitor has rarely seen a price drop this holiday shopping season from retailers. Instead, most retailers have opt to offer additional incentives such as gift cards or free game bundles to entice shoppers. This is one of the only two price drop we’ve seen since Thanksgiving. Don’t be surprise if this offer goes out of stock at your local Walmart come Monday!
