Pocket Worlds announced today that it’s collaborating with Neopets, with the titular virtual pets joining mobile social world Highrise. Starting today, Highrise players can enter Neopia and interact with Kacheek, Xweetok and Aisha, collect accessories and play games that invoke the nostalgia of the long-running series.

Players can explore a world reminiscent of Neopia Central, the home of Neopets, including the worlds of Tyrannia, Faerieland and Terror Mountain; and customize their pets with brush variants. Highrise also has Neopets-themed minigames such as Volcano Run II and Whack a Beast, echoing similar games available on the real Neopia Central.

Anton Bernstein, Pocket Worlds CEO, said in a statement, “We’re dedicated to ensuring Highrise remains the best user-generated virtual world today. Neopets is a legendary game we all grew up playing, and it’s the perfect match for our users, who come to Highrise to make new friends, customize avatars, and play games together after outgrowing the features and communities of other platforms. At their core, Highrise and Neopets are both about eternally resonating themes of expressing your creativity and true self.”

Dominic Law, Neopets CEO, added, “I’m thrilled to see Neopets evolving into a place where our community can hang out together, no matter where they are. Highrise is the perfect home for this next chapter. By bringing iconic Neopets experiences into a social, mobile-first world, we’re giving fans a fresh way to explore Neopia together.”

Neopets are the latest iconic franchise to join Highrise’s world, preceded by Winx Club in 2024. The digital pets also saw a recent revival with the launch of Neopets – Mega Mini Games Collection – The Neopian Arcade Odyssey on PlayStation 5.
