The industry now has more than 30 billion-dollar mobile-first or mobile-only companies. It’s the fastest-paced, most competitive, and quickest-growing section in history. The rewards are big, but the challenges are even bigger for mobile app developers and publishers.
We want to help.
We’ve recently completed a four-part series on mobile: mobile user acquisition, mobile games monetization, mobile app analytics, and mobile marketing automation. We’ve surveyed thousands of mobile developers and publishers with over a billion MAU; we’ve studied 1.8 million apps for embedded SDKs and API calls; and we’ve compared what successful developers do differently than those who do not monetize well.
We’re planning to share that knowledge with you in our spring 2015 VB Roadshow.
Here’s the itinerary:
- All events start at 4 p.m.
- All events include drinks and food.
- I or another VB Insight analyst will share the results of our research at each event.
- We’ll also have local guest speakers.
- And then we’ll eat and drink some more.
And here are our cities:
- Seattle: March 24, W Hotel
- with two additional speakers to be announced.
- Vancouver: March 25, Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre
- with Olivier Vincent, president and CEO of LocalSphere
- and an additional speaker to be announced
- Toronto: April 1, Intercontinental Toronto Centre
- with Michael Sikorsky, CEO of Robots and Pencils
- with Albert Lai, cofounder and CEO of Big Viking Games
- Montréal: April 2, Fairmont Queen Elizabeth
- with Ian Jeffery, VP of PasswordBox
- with Stephane Marceau, co-founder and CEO of OMsignal
The best part? All of our roadshow events are completely free (thanks to our sponsor, AdColony).
That means we have extremely limited space — we won’t be permitting more than 250 developers and publishers into each venue. And that means you need to apply to attend.
If you want to grow in mobile, you need to know how to acquire users and players as inexpensively as possible. You need to understand which monetization strategies work best, and which just annoy and frustrate your users. You also need to understand which analytics solutions are most likely to help you improve your apps. And finally, you want to connect to your users at one-to-one scale, enabled by technology, to deepen engagement and increase revenue.
We’ll be talking about all these components of being successful in mobile. Don’t miss it!
