Microsoft shows its Xbox One consoles are rolling off the production line

This picture could go down as the least sexy in video game history. But gamers may eat it up because Microsoft says these boxes contain production units of the Xbox One video game console, which is slated for a Nov. 22 launch in the U.S. and 12 other countries.

Gamers are a skeptical lot. So Microsoft evidently felt the need to prove that its Xbox One consoles are on their way to stores in advance of launch. Xbox’s Larry Hryb, also known as Major Nelson, posted the picture under the headline, “The first Xbox One consoles starting their journey.”
