Lizard Smoothie today launched its debut title, an action roguelite MOBA with co-op play called Shape of Dreams. The game, published by Neowiz, is the studio’s debut title — Lizard Smoothie was founded in 2023 by two college students. Shape of Dreams is, according to its creators, intended to be a game fun for both indie game lovers and developers.

According to the game’s story, the in-game battles take place in a dreamscape reality. Shape of Dreams launches with eight playable characters, each with their own abilities. It has four difficulty levels, over 150 mix-and-match build customizers and 9 Lucid Dream modifiers. At present, its available to play on PC via Steam.

Lizard Smoothie first put out its demo for Shape of Dreams in May 2024, and the game’s Prologue chapter last November. The game has also won the studio multiple awards, including Best Student Game Award at the Game Developer World Championship 2024 Summer Season and the Grand Prize at the IndieGo 2024 Awards.

Eunsop Shim, Lizard Smoothie CEO, said in a statement, “We were empowered by our relationship with NEOWIZ, who helped us earn over 1 million downloads for the prologue and demo version of the game and earn a spot in the top 10 trending titles during Steam Next Fest. We look forward to hearing fans’ thoughts on the game and supporting Shape of Dreams with updates in the future!”
