Mattel launches He-Man game on Roblox

Mattel launched today a new Masters of the Universe game on Roblox. He-Man and the Masters of the Universe: You have the Power is the latest title to chase after Roblox’s audience of more than 50 million daily active players.

Mattel is the latest brand to go in pursuit of the metaverse, the universe of virtual worlds that are all interconnected, like in novels such as Snow Crash and Ready Player One. And Roblox is considered one of the lead platforms for the metaverse, as it exists so far.

The game brings fans into the world of Eternia where they can compete in player-versus-player (PvP) battles as their favorite Masters of the Universe characters, inspired by the Netflix animated series, He-Man and the Masters of the Universe.
