Major League Gaming drops StarCraft II from its next championship event

One of gaming’s biggest competitive leagues is dropping one of the marquee games in e-sports.

Major League Gaming revealed today that it has no plans to include StarCraft II at its fall championship event this November in Columbus, Ohio. MLG chief executive Sundance DiGiovanni broke the news on Twitter:
