Mobile game developer Top App Games, part of Utmost Games, has announced that its free-to-play strategy PvP autobattler, Ludus, has surpassed 10 million downloads worldwide. The studio also revealed Divisions, a major new in-game feature for competitive play in the mobile game.
This milestone follows strong business performance, with Ludus recently reaching a 74.6% year-over-year revenue increase and expanding into the Southeast Asian market with its launch in Vietnam, according to numbers shared by the company.
Divisions is a new competitive seasonal event that replaces the old Leagues system. The feature places players into groups of 20 or more competitors, which battle to climb the ranks, advance to higher tiers and earn exclusive rewards.
Divisions also introduce new strategic mechanics. Players can challenge rivals using Attack Coupons, raid statues to siphon rating points and recover lost rating through a one-time Payback attack. Daily progression is tracked through a Victories Gauge, which players must fill to unlock rewards and end-of-season bonuses.

“Ludus is a one-of-a-kind title in the mobile space that blends merge mechanics, auto-chess tactics, and RPG progression into a cohesive experience,” said Top App Games chief executive officer Vladimir Markov in a press release. “Divisions reflect our commitment to making the gameplay experience even more engaging.”
Vladimir Nikolsky, the chief executive officer of Utmost Games, flagged Ludus’ download and revenue numbers as evidence that the game is a “hit.” “It’s great to see the Top App Games team consistently testing and experimenting with new events and features to further evolve the game,” Nikolsky said in the press release.
Ludus is a real-time PvP strategy game where players collect, combine and upgrade heroes with unique abilities, creating powerful decks to defeat opponents around the world. Ongoing seasonal tournaments, battle passes and event rewards create a competitive yet welcoming space for both casual and competitive players alike.
Ludus was released in December 2023 and has demonstrated consistent growth since launch. In March 2025, the game’s monthly revenue reached approximately $3 million, and by December 2025, Ludus surpassed 8 million installs globally. The game’s core audience consists primarily of men aged 25-50, and it is especially popular in the United States, South Korea, Germany, Japan and the United Kingdom.
