JumpStart uses School of Dragons mobile puzzle game to teach chemistry

JumpStart announced its new mobile game School of Dragons: Alchemy Adventure today. It’s something the educational game publisher feels can teach kids chemistry using a match 3-style puzzler.

It’s based on DreamWorks Animation’s How to Train Your Dragon movie series. Kids match elements from the Periodic Table to create compounds in a way that seems a lot more fun than rote memorization.
