On this week’s How Games Make Money podcast, game industry public relations pro Stephanie Tinsley joins host Jeff Grubb to talk about her job. She has a lot to say about what it takes to facilitate the communication between developers and gamers. And that changed a lot this year due to the pandemic and the cancellation of E3 (the Electronic Entertainment Expo trade show) in Los Angeles.

But the fundamentals of Tinsley’s work haven’t shifted much. She still spends most of her time shaping the public face of companies that make games. And that means ensuring they know how to avoid making mistakes, but it also means sometimes taking on the role of a mama bear.
