Sean Murray of Hello Games revealed his team’s latest project at The Game Awards in Los Angeles today.
Light No Fire is a fantasy multiplayer game set on an Earth-sized virtual world, created using similar procedural generation tech as seen in the studio’s last game, No Man’s Sky.
While No Man’s Sky has players exploring numerous planets, none of those worlds will compare to the size and density of the setting for Light No Fire. The game will feature multiple biomes, just like our Earth.
No Man’s Sky debuted in 2016. While it initially fell short of expectations, years of steady support and significant updates have turned it into a beloved sci-fi title. Hello Games is going to continue support for No Man’s Sky, while several updates planned in 2024.
