Funko Fusion launches for PC and consoles on September 13

10:10 Games announced today that its upcoming action-adventure game Funko Fusion, which features playable Funko POP figures, is launching on September 13. The game, which was made in collaboration with Funko, Inc and physical distribution partner Skybound Games, is set to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC.

Funko Fusion is the debut title for 10:10 Games, founded in 2021 by veterans of LEGO Games studio TT Games. From what the studio has shown so far, the new game will include Funko figures from Jurassic World, Back to the Future, Shaun of the Dead, The Umbrella Academy and Masters of the Universe. Arthur Parsons, 10:10’s head of publishing, said that getting He-Man into the game was a personal highlight: “Crafted by a talented team, Funko Fusion is the ultimate celebration of fandom, blending beloved movie and TV properties for every generation with humor, fun mechanics, and fast-paced high-adrenaline action. Funko Fusion is the experience we believe fans are waiting to play.”

Jason Bischoff, Funko’s VP of licensing and business development, said in a statement, “Fans have been champing at the bit for more information since our announcement. We are so grateful for that excitement, and for the opportunity to start sharing the extraordinary work, and partnership of our friends at 10:10 Games. Fall 2024, it’s all about Funko Fusion!”

10:10 Games also announced a perk for players from its partner Skybound: Those who preorder receive a pack featuring two playable characters from Skybound’s The Walking Dead, namely Michonne Hawthorne and Rick Grimes. Ian Howe, managing partner at Skybound, implied that Invincible characters are also coming to Funko Fusion, saying, “Invincible, Omni-Man, Rick Grimes, and Michonne, alongside some of NBCUniversal’s most amazing characters? We can’t wait for fans to experience this!”
