Exists opens public access to AI-powered 3D world creator

Exists, a generative AI company reimagining how virtual worlds are created, today launched its platform to the public.

The AI-powered 3D virtual world creation platform is now open today for anyone to log in, type a prompt, and generate rich, immersive 3D worlds instantly, with no tools, code, or experience required.

After several months in early access with thousands of users and consistently high engagement and retention, Exists is now open for everyone to explore and create. The platform has already been used to build thousands of unique, playable environments, and its community continues to grow rapidly.

Exists is designed not for developers, but for anyone who wants to bring a world to life. Players, storytellers, educators, and hobbyists can describe what they imagine, and within moments, they’re exploring a fully generated 3D environment, built to scale and ready to experience.

At the heart of Exists is a new kind of world model that learns to generate inside a game engine rather than as a standalone real-time video diffusion model. While most approaches in the space output static or visual-only scenes, Exists runs on a custom
fork of Unreal Engine in the cloud. This lets the system build environments that are
not just visually rich but immediately functional, with multiplayer support, lighting, AI
bots, and more, all powered by a professional-grade engine.

“We believe the future of AI in game development lies in using game engines themselves as part of the intelligence loop,” said Yotam Hechtlinger, CEO of Exists, in a statement. “We’ve built our own world model that understands not just what a scene should look like, but how it should work as a game.”

The Tel Aviv, Israel-based company has five people, and over time about 20 people contributed to the project.

Hechtlinger, an AI researcher with a Ph.D. from Carnegie Mellon University, leads a team combining expertise in generative models, procedural systems, and interactive design. The company is also developing live Unreal Engine code generation, which will soon enable fully interactive gameplay, logic, and behaviors generated directly from natural language.

Beyond game creation, Exists also enables users to instantly generate stylized videos and cinematic sequences from their worlds. This unlocks fast, intuitive workflows for storytelling, content creation, and prototyping without needing traditional 3D tools.

As generative AI tools continue to shape creative industries, Exists represents a different path. Instead of aiming to replace developers, the platform empowers a much broader audience to create interactive 3D content at a level that was previously inaccessible.

The platform is live now at https://exists.ai. Your world is a sentence away.
