EEDAR chief exec to join panel discussion on how big data can improve game development

The Entertainment Merchants Association is holding its fifth annual Digital Media Pipeline on Sept. 24 in Los Angeles, and it plans to conduct a panel that will look into the benefits of big data for game developers and other modern companies.

The panel, “Putting Big Data to Work in Digital Media,” will explore the “successes, opportunities, and risks” of using big data for a digital business. The session will attempt to explain how companies like game developers can leverage the best part of big data while avoiding privacy and data-collection pitfalls.
