Doom’s latest free update is huge and out now

Bethesda and id Software are giving you (more) hell, and — in this case — that’s a good thing.

The publisher and developer updated their excellent sci-fi shooter Doom today with another free update. This patch introduces a number of new features for multiplayer and the SnapMap create-a-level modes. The update is also huge as it requires a 12GB download on PC. That’s not unusual for Doom, which launched in May. Bethesda has introduced patches that are around this size every couple of months.
