Nvidia has launched new drivers for its graphics cards today in preparation for the debut of Star Wars: Battlefront II, but the company has also continued to squeeze better performance out of the PC release of Bungie’s Destiny 2. That online sci-fi shooter is seeing double-digit jumps in framerates on high settings at the 1440p and 2160p resolutions on Nvidia’s GeForce GTX 1000-series chips.
At 1440p, the GTX 1080 Ti sees a 45 percent performance boost. At 2160p, however, it leaps ahead with 53 percent more frames per second. That’s the most drastic improvement, but even the lower-end GTX 1060 sees a leap of 39 percent in 1440p mode. Here’s the breakdown from Nvidia:
