Legendary adventure game developer Ron Gilbert debuted a new game during Gamescom Opening Night Live.
It is called Death by Scrolling, a vertically scrolling rougelike that shares a bit of a resemblance to Vampire Survivors.
Gilbert became a legendary developer thanks to his work on Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts titles like Maniac Mansion and The Secret of Monkey Island. In 2022, he released Return to Monkey Island with is Terrible Toybox studio.
