More than two years ago, Brian Fargo’s InXile Entertainment scored $2.9 million in crowdfunding on Kickstarter to raise money for Wasteland 2. Now the company has finally scheduled a release window for the game at the end of August.

Judging from Wasteland 2’s scope, the team hasn’t been wasting its time, as Fargo promises more than 50 hours of gameplay and a script with a word count that is greater than The Lord of the Rings.
