Boneworks looks really special. What began as a sort of bizarre testing ground for a VR physics engine has evolved into a pseudo-sandbox experience full of items, objects, and enemies to play around with. We first saw the original tech demo a year ago at GDC, then again when it resurfaced a few months later. But as it turns out, Stress Level Zero, creators of Hover Junkers and Duck Season, are actually gearing up to release this magical physics toybox publicly.
The level of interactivity and responsiveness looks absolutely unmatched in VR right now. Boneworks is due out this year for Rift, Vive, and Windows VR and we’re aching to see more. Hopefully it will make a return to GDC this month and we can try it out again!
