Attack on Titan: Unbreakable VR title launches in early access this July

VR developer UNIVRS announced today that its upcoming VR title, Attack on Titan: Unbreakable, is launching in early access on July 23. The first two chapters of the game will be available for gamers on Meta Quest Pro, 2 and 3, constituting about four or so hours of gameplay. The developer also revealed a roadmap that shows they plan to launch the 1.0 version of the chapters, alongside co-op mode and other chapters, sometime later this year.

The adaptation of the popular manga/anime casts the player as a member of the Scout Regiment, who must battle the towering titans with their Omni-Directional Mobility Gear. They must complete timed objectives, claim supply drops and protect civilians in first person while navigating the recreated village inside Wall Maria. The game features the anime’s English and Japanese voice cast reprising their roles.
