Zynga’s NaturalMotion unveils Dawn of Titans action-strategy mobile game

NaturalMotion is announcing its first new game — Dawn of Titans — since Zynga acquired it last year for $527 million.

We’ll soon see if Zynga got its money’s worth. NaturalMotion is taking the publisher into a new category of action-strategy games, based on an announcement in the company’s fourth quarter earnings release today.

Zynga said that Dawn of Titans is set in a graphically beautiful world where players command armies of Titans. You will be able to train Titans and lead an alliance to victory. This sounds like a PC game, but Zynga said that the NaturalMotion team is leveraging proprietary mobile technology to deliver it this year on mobile devices.

NaturalMotion has made cool mobile games such as Clumsy Ninja, an artificial intelligence-driven virtual character, and CSR Racing.
