I'm absolutely floored by the amazingly detailed mouth animations of Call of Duty: Black Ops. Why, I wish I could communicate entire coherent sentences by just slightly hanging my mouth open.

Video Blips:

• A Black Ops player modestly named "theLEGENDofKARL" breathlessly explains the myriad features of the Call of Duty Elite database service. Judging by the legions of COD players out there, such a service is as inevitable as nonsensical machinima videos.

Continue after the break for the Zerg's moment of glory in Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm, a second disastrous appearance of Mr. Toots in Red Faction: Armageddon, and Mortal Kombat's blood-crazy Skarlet.

• The Zerg amass their forces into a horde of overwhelming power in Starcraft 2: Heart of the Swarm. Perhaps the icy weather will convince Zerg wrangler Sarah Kerrigan to don something a little more protective than bare flesh.

• Mr. Toots' cute-yet-horrifying nature belies his destructive "ability" in Red Faction: Armageddon. The awakened Martian creatures should take a page from the good Admiral Ackbar's sage advice of, "Our cruisers can't repel firepower of that magnitude!"

• The bloodstained Skarlet greets her opponents with appropriately brutal moves in Mortal Kombat. I'd insert a lame period joke here, but that's probably too predictable.
