The Assassin's Creed franchise possesses the rare skill of teasing its fans with trailers…for trailers. The excitement is threatening to overcome my senses any moment now.
Video Blips:
• Ezio Auditore wearily prepares himself for his final confrontation with the Templars in Assassin's Creed: Revelations. Shopkeepers, rejoice: Your "I went to Constantinople and all I got was a stab in the back" t-shirts are in vogue again.
Continue after the break for the official trailer of Hunted: The Demon's Forge, the slaying of a mythical beast in Dragon's Dogma, and Rayne's unquenchable thirst in BloodRayne: Betrayal.
• The monster hordes of Hunted: The Demon's Forge wither under arrow and blade from the deadly duo of E'lara and Caddoc. Possible reasons: A crusade against evil, a crusade against injustice, or a crusade against non-spiky armor.
• Vanquishing a majestic griffin in Dragon's Dogma isn't an easy task. This reminds me of the first time I rode on a griffin in World of Warcraft, only with less bloodshed and more Erasure.
• This trailer for BloodRayne: Betrayal highlights the importance of staying out the way of a vampire's feeding frenzy. Either that, or it's one of the finest executions of a Kool-Aid viral ad I've ever seen.
