Phantasy Star Online 2 is a clear indication that the Sega gods deemed us worthy enough again to mindlessly grind on aliens using sword-shaped hunks of metal until our eyeballs cry out for death's sweet embrace. Or maybe that was unworthiness.
Video Blips:
• Phantasy Star Online 2's combo-based combat ensures plenty of pretty numbers popping up on your screen. Civilization of the future has apparently progressed enough to teach its warriors to jump, finally.
Continue after the break for a glimpse into the suspenseful story of Hunted: The Demon's Forge, the resistance against mutinous robots in Binary Domain, and a gorilla-sized convict's anger management issues in Driver: San Francisco.
• Xena (Lucy Lawless) wants you to heed Seraphine's advice to unravel the mysteries surrounding Hunted: The Demon's Forge. A guide is always a welcome presence, especially if said guide looks like the bombshell offspring of Mortal Kombat's Raiden.
• After perfecting their "kill all humans" plan, the robots of Binary Domain march against their fleshy creators. This is probably what happens after someone doesn't tip their robot waiter.
• Lethal Weapon buddy cop cliche notwithstanding, the action in Driver: San Francisco looks excitingly intense. Either that, or I've unwittingly unearthed an old Muni instructional video.
