Shipping Store Simulator 2037 is coming to Steam on October 14.

The management simulation game, which features robotic employees, is slated to release first on Steam for PC. SayGames and developer Playstrom announced the October release date during the Convergence Showcase indie game event today, July 16.

Shipping Store Simulator 2037 marks the first time SayGames has launched a title as a PC-first release. The publisher, which has more than eight billion downloads across its portfolio, previously found success with the multiplatform title My Little Universe.

In Shipping Store Simulator 2037, players start a small package delivery shop called Rocket Post in the city of Cranelock, competing against a dominant rival, QuickBox. Players begin with just a modest shop and a small budget, handling incoming deliveries, labeling packages and serving customers alone before robotic help becomes available.

As Rocket Post earns revenue, players can assign droids to take over key tasks, freeing themselves up to focus on managing the budget and finding new opportunities to expand the business. The robotic staff isn’t maintenance-free, however — androids can require repairs, slip on spills in the store, or even catch fire, adding a layer of upkeep to the game’s management loop. Treating the robots well and keeping them stocked with supplies is part of building what the developers describe as a well-oiled logistics machine.

As Rocket Post’s reputation grows, prominent clients in Cranelock will take notice and want to do business, opening the door to “white glove” delivery services via van, drone and other methods. The goal is to expand Rocket Post into the city’s premier shipping solution, all at whatever pace players choose to advance.

“Shipping Store Simulator 2037 finds that sweet spot between something that’s cozy and relaxing to play while providing the fun that comes from building up your business,” said Ivan Bogdanchuk, the chief executive officer and founder of Playstrom, in a statement. “If you like to min-max everything possible, or just enjoy unwinding with meaningful progress in a low-stakes environment, our game has something for all fans of the genre.”

Shipping Store Simulator 2037 will support English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Russian, Polish, Japanese, Korean, and Simplified Chinese language text at launch. A demo is currently available on Steam for players who want to try the game ahead of its October release.

SayGames has published more than 200 games and counts more than eight billion downloads across its portfolio. The publisher, headquartered in Cyprus and Poland, works with developer partners across platforms to create what it describes as delightful gaming experiences. Playstrom has released more than 15 titles and surpassed 1.5 billion downloads to date, largely in the mobile space.

The October 14 release date  announcement comes as management and simulation games continue to draw steady audiences on PC, with cozy, low-pressure titles in particular finding an engaged following on Steam. SayGames and Playstrom’s long-running partnership on prior mobile titles positions the two companies to lean on an established creative relationship as they navigate their first joint release built for PC players specifically.
