The next Call of Duty is nearly upon us, and Activision has rolled out a promotional beta for the military shooter to get people buzzing and to test it in a live environment. Today is the closed beta for Call of Duty: WWII on PlayStation 4. It opens up to everyone else tomorrow.
We wanted to give the game a shot to see if Ken Burns lied to us about wall-running and double jumping during WWII. Of course, it’s possible ol’ Kenny wasn’t lying and this new Call of Duty is dropping a lot of the mobility mechanics that served at the core of Advance Warfare, Black Ops III, and Infinite Warfare.
