Microsoft wants to make sure you always have a friend online. The company announced through its official Xbox Support Twitter account that it will allow for up to 1,000 friends on Xbox Live.
Polygon spotted the confirmation from Xbox Support, shown below:

Xbox Live currently restricts your friends list to 100. That’s a limit that many gamers have already met, meaning they have to turn down new friend requests. With the new 1,000 limit, it’s going to take much longer to fill that list. But we’re sure someone out there will manage to do it.
