University of Florida opens $150M tech center with help from Nvidia cofounder Chris Malachowsky

The University of Florida is opening its Malachowsky Hall for Data Science & Information Technology today in Gainsville, Florida. The $150 million, seven-story structure received a donation from Nvidia, Nvidia cofounder Chris Malachowsky and the state of Florida.

Designed to set the standard for future STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) buildings across national and international campuses and transform the artificial intelligence (AI) and data science workforce, the building was dedicated in a ribbon-cutting ceremony today.
